AmazonTree is a greentech platform for forest asset conservation, monitoring 15 million m² in the Amazon with scalable satellite-based technology. We designed and developed the UX and frontend systems for their blockchain-based monitoring platform, where precision data meets transparent asset management.

Institutional Website

The AmazonTree institutional site serves as the platform’s public face – educating visitors about forest conservation technology while building trust in the greentech’s mission. We architected the backend with Wagtail CMS on Django, giving the AmazonTree team full editorial control over content, imagery, and page structures without developer dependencies. The headless CMS approach allowed us to build the frontend in React with Next.js, optimizing for performance, SEO, and smooth page transitions.

Mapbox Integration & Satellite Dataviz

We developed custom Mapbox layers that visualize fractionalized forest tokens with real satellite data. The critical feature is the historical time series: interactive timeline controls let users scrub through years of satellite captures, watching forest health metrics evolve dynamically. Performance optimization keeps these data-heavy interactions fluid.

Design System

We built a comprehensive component library in Figma tailored to AmazonTree’s unique needs. Each component is documented for developers and flexible enough to scale as the platform expands.
